These fun weavings are made asking questions about a particular topic of a Magic 8 Ball. These can be questions formulated by you or they can be a collection of quotes that speak to the topic.
 
Each outcome of the Magic 8 Ball is attached to a unique yarn color. Depending on the weaving, either 10-20 questions are asked and then recorded in the weaving. Themes for these weavings have ranged from "Love" to "The Meaning of Life" to "He loves me, he loves me not" to even an exploration about "Snakes". Part of the fun is in the topic chosen to research.

It not only generates a random pattern and color combination in a medium that has almost covered every imaginable pattern, but it also allows for an interesting exploration in what we know as humans. Taking quotes from various people, from different socioeconomic backgrounds, from different geographies and time periods and leaving these thoughts up to interpretation of a Magic 8 Ball is illuminating. We tend to feel when something feels like truth and when it doesn't, but it's just fun to shrug and say "Who really knows?".
